I am starting this blog in hopes to help others that are thinking about or actively pursuing a career or transaction in Real Estate.
I am a wife, a mother to LOTS of beautiful little people, and a Realtor in this crazy Denver market. I to was once a first time home buyer in 2012 and that's when I found out how much I LOVE Real Estate. I left my secure job at the VA hospital and took a HUGE risk jumping into the unstable, but amazingly satisfying Real Estate market. My husband thought I lost my mind and for a while, it was scary to think how I would pay next months bills, but by the grace of God I have made it and LOVE every risky, crazy minute of it. It gives me the flexibility to spend much need time with my children that I had longed for since the day they were born, but couldn't afford to be a SAHM because today it is so expensive just to live. Becoming my own boss has to be my favorite part because I no longer have someone dictating every move I make. It absolutely has its struggles too....... not knowing where your next paycheck is coming from or how much it will have to be the scariest! Putting weeks or months into working for a client for them to change their minds or not qualify to buy has to be the saddest. AND not ever knowing how the market will change from month to month is the hardest! I wouldn't change a second of it for the world, you know when you find your nitch this is defiantly mine.
The market has just starting to change when I received my license and I am so ever thankful! It's still a struggle for buyers due to the increase in prices and population. Writing 5+ offers for every buyer between 0-300 thousand looking at 10+ houses and always having showing piled on top of showings! However, there is nothing like being at a closing table with a first time home buyer and watching the excitement grow as we hand over the keys to their very own home. Probably my favorite moment in time its priceless!
